2026-2027 Calendars (Now Including 2 Remote Learning Days)

Silver Consolidated Schools Staff, Families, and Community,

We are pleased to share the final 2026–2027 school calendars for Silver Consolidated Schools, Cliff Schools, and Silver Scholars Academy. These calendars have been finalized and should now be considered the official calendars for the upcoming school year. One important update is the addition of designated Remote Learning Days. Two Remote Learning Days will remain available for use for inclement weather. As we complete the school consolidation and classroom moves. This year, August 5th & 6th will be designated as Work Days to provide additional time to ensure that classes are ready for the first day of school on August 10th. 

Silver Consolidated Schools In-Town (K–12)

  • New Employee Orientation: August 3–4
  • Staff Development/In-Service: August 5–7
  • First Day of School: Monday, August 10
  • Remote Learning Days: Friday, September 4 and Tuesday, October 6
  • Parent/Teacher Conferences: September 18 and February 12
  • Labor Day Holiday: September 7
  • Fall Break: October 12–16
  • Election Day — No School: November 3
  • Thanksgiving Break: November 23–27
  • Winter Break: December 21–January 1
  • Presidents Day Holiday: February 15
  • Spring Break: March 8–12
  • Easter Monday Holiday: March 29
  • Graduation: Friday, May 21
  • Last Day of School: Friday, May 28
Cliff Schools
Cliff Schools follow a four-day instructional week and have a calendar tailored to that schedule.
  • New Teacher Orientation: August 3–4
  • Staff Development: November 6, and December 4
  • Staff Work Days: August 5-7, October 2, January 8, January 15, and May 21
  • First Day of School: Monday, August 10
  • Remote Learning Days: Friday, September 4 and Tuesday, October 6
  • Parent/Teacher Conferences: September 18 and February 12
  • Fall Break: October 12–15
  • Election Day (No School): November 3
  • Thanksgiving Break: November 25–26
  • Winter Break: December 21–31
  • Spring Break: March 8–11
  • Easter Monday Holiday: March 29
  • Last Day of School: Wednesday, May 27
Silver Scholars Academy (PreK)
Silver Scholars Academy follows the New Mexico PreK calendar and includes several events unique to our youngest learners.

  • New Employee Orientation: August 3–4
  • Staff Development/In-Service: August 5–6
  • Staff Work Days: August 7 and January 4
  • Home Visits: August 10–11
  • PreK Discovery Day: August 12
  • First Day of School: Thursday, August 13
  • Remote Learning Days: September 17 and February 11
  • Parent/Teacher Conferences: September 18, February 12, and May 21
  • Holidays/Breaks: Labor Day, Fall Break, Election Day, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Presidents Day, Spring Break, and Easter Monday
  • Promotion Day: Wednesday, May 26
  • Last Day of School: Thursday, May 27

Additional information regarding Remote Learning Days, Parent/Teacher Conferences, and other important events will be shared by your child's school as those dates approach. Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
