Silver Consolidated Schools Technology Team is committed to serving and supporting all of our stakeholders including students, parents, teachers, staff, administration, and our community with their educational technology needs. The department is responsible for the support of 2,300+ students and 350+ staff members spread across 9 campuses and over 40 miles.

The team provides a 1-1 device program from Pre-K through 12th grade. Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students are provided with iPads for school and home use while students in grades 1st through 12th grade utilize touchscreen chromebooks. The district has a student to computer ratio of almost 2 devices for every staff or student. Silver Schools also provides installation and repair support on all district-owned technology assets including, interactive displays, projectors, document cameras, ip phone systems, ip security cameras, servers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and routers.

In addition to hardware support the department maintains and supports our staff and community in many vital ways. We provide centralized online registration for all campuses and are in charge of the STARS reporting data that aides in determining the district's budget. Student information, financial, human resources, special education, and many curricular software packages and integrations are all part of our daily tasks. The department utilizes various federal and state programs such as E-Rate, Emergency Connectivity Funding, Broadband Deficiency Correction, and Capital Outlay to ensure that we are being good financial stewards of our students education.

The department also manages and maintains the district warehouse ensuring that freight and supplies are handled efficiently and delivered promptly to classrooms for our staff and students.
