The information below represents COVID-19 within Silver Consolidated Schools as confirmed by the NM Department of Health, and any subsequent quarantines. The chart below represents cases within Silver Schools for the regular 2021-2022 School Year. This web page is updated Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Silver Consolidated Schools COVID-19 protocols require the wearing of proper face coverings (covers nose and mouth) for students, teachers, staff, and administrators; social distancing; and cleaning and sanitizing standards. Anyone who has been in close contact will be notified individually.
Individuals who test positive are asked to quarantine for 10 days and monitor themselves for symptoms.
In the event that an individual has tested positive for COVID-19, the District will send notifications
All who were exposed to the individual testing positive (within 3 to 6 feet and for longer than 15 minutes will be notified of this exposure, asked to remain home and monitor for symptoms.
Those who were not exposed but are in the same building as the individual who tested positive for COVID-19 will be notified but will not be asked to remain home.
